Roberto Carabetta’s career has moved through banking, construction, entrepreneurship, multifamily real estate and senior living — but the common thread has always been the same: build, take ownership, execute, and keep moving forward.
THE BEGINNING
THE PATH WAS NEVER LINEAR.
Roberto’s professional life did not start in real estate. He began in banking in 1998, learning how money, credit and financial decisions worked from the inside.
At 21, he bought his first investment property. A few years later, he joined his father in construction, where he learned something spreadsheets could not teach him — how to execute.
By 2013, Roberto had launched his own construction company. That experience shaped the way he would approach every business after it: understand the numbers, understand the people, and understand what actually has to happen for the plan to work.

1998
BANKING
Roberto began his career in banking, gaining an early understanding of money, credit, financial decision-making and how people think about ownership.
2002
FIRST INVESTMENT PROPERTY
Roberto purchased his first real-estate investment property, beginning a long-term relationship with ownership and investing.
2005
CONSTRUCTION
Roberto officially joined his father in construction and learned execution from the ground up — managing people, schedules, budgets, clients and real-world problems.
2013
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Roberto launched his own construction business, moving from employee and operator into full ownership and responsibility.
2023
FLORIDA
Roberto moved his family from Canada to Florida, making one of the largest personal and professional transitions of his career.
2023
MULTIFAMILY
Roberto expanded further into multifamily real estate and capital raising.
2024
SENIOR LIVING
Roberto completed his first senior-living acquisition and began moving into an operating-intensive real-estate sector.
2025
MARAVIDA SENIOR LIVING
Roberto founded Maravida Senior Living as the operating platform for his growing assisted living and memory care portfolio.

But some of the biggest chapters started with the same question: Why not me?
For Roberto, that question is not about ego. It is about calculated risk, personal responsibility and refusing to assume that a larger path belongs to someone else.
